Blue Marlin Beach Resort

The brief

A private island resort in Belize, reachable by boat, selling exactly what’s hard to photograph from shore: the reef under the surface, the quiet above it, and the island in between. The property needed a content library that could carry its marketing: built in a single production run.

The work

Shot on the same Belize expedition as our Belizean Dreams library, with the island getting the full above-and-below treatment: snorkelers and divers on the reef, the over-under frames only a crew in the water can make, cabanas on white sand, sunset and blue-hour details, and the palms under the Milky Way. One trip, one library: rooms, water, food and drink, night sky.

The system

For one-off island projects the discipline is coverage: every subject a marketing team will need for the next few years, captured while the crew is standing on the sand. The library ships organized and ready: campaign heroes down to social-ready frames.
